Last modified: Friday, August 8, 2008 2:26 PM PDT 50th Anniversary: Ellis Fred and Sylvia Ellis celebrated their 50th anniversary July 3, 2008, with a family reunion gathering at Pinecrest Lake Resort near Sonora, Calif., hosted by David and Shirley Ellis, Fred’s brother and sister-in-law. The couple married July 20, 1958, in the Meadow Vista Seventh-day Adventist School Auditorium in Auburn, Calif., with Elder G.H. Loewen officiating. They are members of the Vale Seventh-day Adventist Church. Together, the couple has four sons, Stephen and Pattie (Fagan) Ellis, Aguanga, Calif., Timothy Ellis, Boise, David Ellis, Vale, and Daniel and Lynelle (Childs) Ellis, College Place, Wash., and four grandchildren.
