Malheur County Fair events list



Malheur County Fair

When: Tuesday through Saturday.

Where: Malheur County Fairgrounds, 795 N.W. Ninth St., Ontario.

Admission: Tuesday, $2. Wednesday through Saturday, $5. Children 5 years and younger get in free. Four-day season passes will be sold at the Main Gate Wednesday for $15. Admission includes rodeo.

Carnival: Discounted pre-sale carnival tickets will be available at Red Apple for $17 per day until Monday. The cost at the gate will be $26.

Tuesday

Family day, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All day: Harts reptile display

4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Coloring contest (picnic area next to first-aid/restroom)

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Guitar Hero tournament (north of commercial building)

5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Clowns Boomer and Snicklefritz

6:30 p.m.: Bi-Mart battle of the bands

8 p.m.: The Studio (MFCU stage)

9 p.m.: Megan Wilson and Fantasy Karaoke

Wednesday

All day: Harts reptile display

All day: FMTC cell phone photo contest

7 a.m.: Chamber breakfast (loafing shed)

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Guitar Hero tournament (north of commercial building)

5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Clowns Boomer and Snicklefritz

6 p.m.: Highstrung Band (MFCU stage)

7 p.m.: Hypnotist Marc Denni (MFCU stage)

8 p.m.: Highstrung Band (MFCU stage)

9 p.m.: Hypnotist Marc Denni

Thursday

KSRV Bull day/senior citizen day

All day: Harts reptile display

All day: FMTC cell phone photo contest

4 p.m.: Ontario antique road show (loafing shed)

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Guitar Hero tournament (north of commercial building)

5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Clowns Boomer and Snicklefritz

6 p.m.: Talent contest (MFCU stage)

7 p.m.: Steve’s Hometown Toyota team roping (arena)

7 p.m.: Hypnotist Marc Denni (MFCU stage)

8 p.m.: Talent contest (MFCU stage)

9 p.m.: Silver Leaf Square Dancers (loafing shed)

Friday

10 a.m.: Junior livestock auction and dairy heifer sale (Girvin Hall)

10 a.m.: Treasure Valley fly wheel engine display (west of red barn)

10 a.m.: Motorcycle show and shine (north of the commercial building)

3 p.m.: Ontario Kiwanis Hermiston watermelon seed spitting contest (MFCU stage)

3:30 p.m.: Painted Hills natural beef back yard grilling contest

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Malheur County Cattlemen’s barbecue

5 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Clowns Boomer and Snicklefritz

6 p.m.: Guitar Hero tournament finals (north of commercial building)
