Laura (Bell) was born Jan. 4, 1946, in Pryor, Okla., to Raymond and Golda Ingle. She attended school in Payette. She married Robert McPherson in 1962 in Weiser. From that union came four sons, Robert, Charley, Randy and Rodney. They later divorced. She then married Melvin Enos. She lived in Pendleton, Ore., later moving to Payette, where she lived until her death.

Laura was best known at Meechans Diner, where she worked for 30 years serving all her favorite customers their morning coffee. Her co-workers called her “Sarg.” She loved playing pool for Meechans for many years and was always called “Lefty.” Laura loved fishing and camping with her family. Family was number one in her book.

She is survived by her four sons, Robert, Charley and Randy, of Payette, and Rodney, of St. Anthony; five grandsons, Jessy, Drew, Tyler, Jason and Charlie Ray; four granddaughters, Tiffany, Crystal, Ashley and Kayley (Bug); a new great-granddaughter, Victoria (whom she was making a blanket for at the time of her death); three step children, Lawana, Reanna and Louie; four step-grandchildren; her mother, Golda Ingle; two sisters, Linda Bybee and Brenda Hall; special nieces and nephews, Maggie and Chuck Hall, Marcy and Tony Fenicottero, Kelsey Bybee and Greg Bybee; a very special friend, Dar Adams; and her RV partner, Bob McElhaney.

Her father; her husbands, Robert McPherson and Melvin Enos; and a brother-in-law, Grant Bybee, preceded her in death.

Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. We all will miss you so much. With much love, from all your family and friends.

" Laura was the first person I met when my mother moved us here in 1978. I was a scared 12 year old girl and it was Thanksgiving Day. Laura grabbed me and gave me a hug and made me feel welcome from the first moment I met her. I remember camping the next summer and Laura put canned milk on my sunburn to make me feel better. Over the last few years we didnt see much of each other, but sent each other cards on our birthdays and at Christmas. Whenever I would "pop" in at Meechans it was planned on a day that she was working. Her potato salad was the best ever!!!! I will never forget the fireball that she was!!! She had the BEST attitude and never seemed to be "down". I will miss you, Laura and I will never forget you!!!!!!! "
