VALE — Jerry Camp will start performing for the evening between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the A Street Tavern in Vale.
Oregon Trail Days planned
VALE — The Vale Rodeo will begin at 8 p.m. tonight through Saturday at the rodeo grounds in Vale.
Oregon Trail Days will be held Friday and Saturday. Vendors will be at Wadleigh Park both days at 10 a.m.
Friday, the Lions breakfast will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the park.
At 8 a.m., the fun run will begin.
A patriotic baby contest and a patriotic beard contest will be held at 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, and Vale’s 32nd mural will be dedicated.
At 4 p.m., parade awards will be given.
After the awards, and Ted Hoffman and Randy Houston will perform cowboy poetry and music.
Pre-rodeo activities begin at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Long Road Home and Joint Heirs will play music from 10 a.m. to noon at the park.
At noon, mural tours will be offered, starting at Logan’s Foodtown.
The duck race also begins at noon.
A western melodrama will begin at 1 p.m., directed by TVCC student Jeremy Irvin.
The Studio Dancers will take the stage at 3 p.m., followed by Marty Campbell performing cowboy poetry and music at 4 p.m.
Pre-rodeo activities begin at 7 p.m.
