Bradley L. Hytrek was born Dec. 31, 1980, in Albuquerque, N. M., to Lonny and Paula Hytrek. They moved to Ontario shortly after he was born.
Bradley passed away June 10, 2008, in a Boise hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Brad was the first boy in a family of six. He was always a big kid with a big heart! Growing up, he was always excited for Christmas, family trips, cartoons and new toys. As a boy, he was active in Boy and Cub Scouts and other church activities. As a young man, he enjoyed playing football and the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, hunting and did we mention fishing?
Brad graduated from Ontario High School in 1999 and attended TVCC, where he studied computer assisted design. His father wanted to make sure and mention that he got an A in astronomy, and he was very proud of that.
Bradley loved watching movies. He also liked to watch The History Channel documentaries and then would tell you all about them. One of his favorite things to do was cook or barbecue for people; he even came up with his own special recipes and spices.
Bradley was always patient, kind and helpful, especially with children or the elderly. He had a gift and love for children. He always had a huge grin on his face when he was roughhousing with his nephews, Tevin and Peyton.
Brad always helped his grandparents and many others with yard work, errands, cleaning up or anything else that they needed.
Brad was a hard worker and a loyal friend.
Bradley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Lora Hytrek, and will be missed by many, including grandparents, Mel and Ada Cardon; his parents, Lonny and Paula Hytrek; his siblings, Kelly Hytrek, Kimber Hess, Krista Frahm and Brett and Brendan Hytrek; along with many other aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, friends and anyone else who knew him.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2008, at the LDS stake situated at 1705 N.W. Fourth Ave., Ontario. Viewing will be start at 11 a.m. with the services at 1 p.m., under the direction of Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel.
