" To whomever didn't have the courage to sign a name or initials......
I never said it was about me, did I? I asked a question, a legitimate question. As for the graduates "picking" granduation date, give me a break. I have lived MANY places and this is the first place that has ever had graduation on Memorial Day weekend and guess what, out of town relatives who really want to attend manage to make it......
Memorial Day weekend is the kick off for the camping/traveling/vacation season to come. It's the first real break after winter has wound down, why continue to mess it up? It's okay to make changes, the sky won't come crashing down! "

" Still, having an event such as this on a Sunday? Every year? Those poor teachers that NEVER get to have a Memorial Day Weekend Vacation? How fair is that? "

" CR--the graduates decide on the time and place for graduation. Over the years, this time (date) has been chosen because it allows non-work travel time for relatives to attend from out of town. Remember, graduation is all about the graduates and their families, not about you. "

" Question: Why does Ontario mess up peoples three day Memorial Day weekend by having graduation on Sunday? Why not on the Wednesday before the Memorial Day weekend starts? I know, because it's ALWAYS been that way, well it's time for a change...... "

" Is this all we get of OHS graduation? One sentence? What was it that was saying maybe the community doesn't care about the high school? "
