TVCC basketball hosting camps
Ontario
The TVCC Men’s Basketball program will provide a fundamentals camp for boys and girls to help improve their skills and gain confidence on the basketball court. This camp is for players entering grades 3 – 8, fall of 2008. The camp’s emphasis will be on skill development and fundamentals accomplished through drills, games, competitions, player evaluations and other activities. The camps will run on June 16 to June 19 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for grades three through five. For Grades six through eight, the camps will be at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. The cost of the camp is $60 which includes a camp T-shirt and basketball. Legion baseball sign-ups underway
Ontario
All baseball players with birth dates from 1989 to 1994 interested in playing American Legion Baseball this summer are invited to sign up.
Sign up sheets are now available at Burger West Drive-In., 691 S.W. 4th Ave. Ontario, and Coley’s Glass, 10 W. Idaho Ave., Ontario. They are also available online at http://WWW.baseball.legion.org.
Forms must be completed and returned by May 21.
The cost for the program is $300 and should be paid when sign up forms are returned. Forms can be returned at Burger West, Coley’s Glass or mailed to: American Legion Baseball, 62 N.W. 18th St., Ontario, Or. 97914. Evaluations will be held at 5:30 p.m. May 21 and May 22, at Treasure Valley Community College. Evaluations are mandatory, unless other arrangements are made in advance.
