DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Monday, Jan. 28, officers responded to a motel. The complaint was of an upset guest.
ALARM: Monday, Jan. 28, officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY: Monday, Jan. 28, reporting party reports a tractor in a corral appears to have crashed through a fence. An officer responded. There were no problems, just feeding.
VANDALISM: Monday, Jan. 28, officers responded to investigate suspicious circumstances at an Ontario business.
TRAFFIC HAZARD: Monday, Jan. 28, caller reports a Chevrolet tailgate lying in the middle of an off ramp.
WARRANT: Monday, Jan. 28, Librado Ruiz Herrera, 36, was cited and released on a contempt of court warrant with the original charge of driving with a suspended license.
DOG AT LARGE: Monday, Jan. 28, officer dispatched to a dog at large call was unable to catch the brown dog wearing a T-shirt.
VEHICLE IMPOUND: Monday, Jan. 28, Librado Ruiz Herrera was driving without privileges and without insurance and was cited accordingly. The vehicle was impounded.
GRAFFITI: Monday, Jan. 28, officer responded for an investigation and report on graffiti.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: Monday, Jan. 28, officers dispatched to meet with security and the victim, in reference to a previously reported bicycle theft.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: Monday, Jan. 28, officer reported he was en route to an Ontario address in reference to a suspicious subject. The officer made contact with the subject. There were no problems.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Monday, Jan. 28, caller reports an individual who had previously exposed himself was back at the business. Contact was made; the information was referred to the original incident.
THEFT: Monday, Jan. 28, officer dispatched to assist the owner of a stolen bike recover it.
THEFT: Monday, Jan. 28, Dominic Leroux, 20, was taken into custody and lodged in Vale for theft.
DISRUPTION OF SCHOOL PROCESS: Monday, Jan. 28, 12-year-old male cited for disruption of a school process.
FOUND PROPERTY: Monday, Jan. 28, found Visa card was turned over to Ontario Police Department (OPD). US Bank was contacted and requested that the card be destroyed.
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Monday, Jan. 28, caller reports an open door at a residence seems suspicious and requested an officer respond.
GRAFFITI: Monday, Jan. 28, officer responded for a report of graffiti on the library.
SEARCH WARRANT: Monday, Jan. 28, officer initiated a report for a search warrant served.
GARBAGE: Monday, Jan. 28, officer initiated a report for the accumulation of garbage.
GRAFFITI: Monday, Jan. 28, ordinance officer requested a case saved for graffiti he located.
PROBATION VIOLATION: Monday, Jan. 28, Dominic Leroux, 20, was lodged in Vale on a detainer issued by the Probation Department.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY: Monday, Jan. 28, officer assisted Lifeways handle a client with behavioral issues.
THEFT: Monday, Jan. 28, reporting party reports a subject dumping boxes of trash in a dumpster at a city park. Contact was made with the responsible party, and there was a misunderstanding. The trash was removed by the subject.
COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE: Monday, Jan. 28, school resource officer cited a parent, Erika Estrada, 33, for a compulsory attendance violation.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY: Monday, Jan. 28, officers responded to assist Department of Human Services (DHS) conduct a home visit.
FRAUD: Monday, Jan. 28, fraud report initiated. A check was sent to Washington for a purchase and requested excess funds be sent to an Ontario address.
TRAFFIC CRASH: Monday, Jan. 28, caller reports a driver failed to stop after colliding with another vehicle. The responsible party did contact the victim at a later time.
ALARM: Monday, Jan. 28, officers dispatched to a general motion alarm found the property secure.
SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT: Monday, Jan. 28, caller reports a male and a female loitering in the hospital parking area.
WELFARE CHECK: Monday, Jan. 28, officer checked the premises after receiving a report of a juvenile female at a residence with a predatory sex offender.
ASSIST PUBLIC: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer checked out a disabled vehicle and assisted with traffic control until the vehicle was removed.
FOUND PROPERTY: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer responded to retrieve found property.
ALARM: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officers responded to an alarm at an Ontario business. Workers on site were contacted; the alarm was activated in error.
WELFARE CHECK: Tuesday, Jan. 29, outside agency requests a welfare check on a couple, as a phone call was answered with no conversation.
TRAFFIC CRASH: Tuesday, Jan. 29, Veronica Aguilar was cited for following too closely after she was involved in a traffic crash.
TRAFFIC CRASH: Tuesday, Jan. 29, caller reports a non-injury accident involving a semi and another vehicle. Jeffrey Monahan was cited for careless driving.
COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE: Tuesday, Jan. 29, school resource officer cited Jennifer Russell, 30, for compulsory attendance.
LOST PROPERTY: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party came to report his wife lost her identification somewhere in Ontario.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY: Tuesday, Jan. 29, Malheur County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputy reports a vehicle driving carelessly on Oregon Highway 201.
ASSIST PUBLIC: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer assisted with traffic control while a vehicle was moved from one location to another.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer assisted OSP with traffic blockage.
TRAFFIC HAZARD: Tuesday, Jan. 29, caller reports a line hanging down from a transformer. Idaho Power was notified.
TRAFFIC CRASH: Tuesday, Jan. 29, caller reports a two-vehicle collision. An officer responded, but the vehicles were gone.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS (DUII): Monday, Jan. 28, reporting party advised that she needed to report a subject that could be intoxicated who is going to pick her kids up in Ontario. The reporting party advised about the vehicle and that the children would be at Arritola Daycare.
THEFT: Monday, Jan. 28, reporting party advised of being out driving for his job and returning home to find that his $4,000 rifle is gone.
ALTERED MENTAL STATUS: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised two men were chopping down trees in her yard and taking the wood. Now they are chopping down the power pole. Dispatch asked the reporting party where her husband was, and she said he was asleep; he doesn’t believe her. Dispatch attempted to contact the son-in-law next door but could only leave a voice mail. Officers were en route.
TRANSFER E 911: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised she has fallen and needs an ambulance. The call was transferred to OPD.
WEATHER WARNING: Tuesday, Jan. 29, National Weather Service reports a snow advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officers dispatched to a report from a 911 caller that they needed help now. Dispatch could hear yelling in the background. The reporting party advised the subject is outside the residence now and is suicidal. The reporting party has locked the house door and is scared but doesn’t believe the subject has any weapons.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officers advised of a call received from a co-worker of a slide off approximately three miles toward Ontario from Nyssa.
911 HANG UP: Tuesday, Jan. 29, received a 911 call. Dispatch could hear someone upset, and the call disconnected. Dispatch attempted to call back and finally made contact with a person who advised the phone was located in the hallway at Harper School and it is unknown who may have called.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer dispatched to a report of a non-injury slide off on U.S. Highway 20-26.
ROAD HAZARD: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised of three semis chaining up on the off ramp causing cars to back up on Interstate 84, exit 374.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, Oregon State Police (OSP) and OPD were advised of a severe accident on Interstate 84, milepost 372, involving a semi-truck and several cars. The reporting party advised there were occupants trapped, and they needed an ambulance.
CIVIL STANDBY: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer advised he was en route to perform a civil standby.
TRANSFER E 911: Tuesday, Jan. 29, 911 caller advised of an accident in Ontario. The call was transferred to OPD.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer advised of a slide off on Oregon Highway 201.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officer dispatched to a report of a slide off near Jordan Valley.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, officers dispatched to a report of a slide off between Adrian and Nyssa.
DOG AT LARGE: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised that neighbors have three large sheep dogs and one keeps coming onto their property and growls at the kids, who are afraid of the dog. The reporting party’s husband attempted to contact the owner, but she wouldn’t answer the door.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised that while she was gone someone slid into her fence near her neighbor’s residence.
UNWANTED SUBJECT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, reporting party advised that she is having trouble with her sister having a group of people over and drinking.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Tuesday, Jan. 29, ODOT advised that a semi had slid off the road into a snow bank. An officer was dispatched to the scene.
