Supporting Students with TBI seminar

Patricia Sublette, Oregon Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Education Coordinator, will present a seminar, “Supporting Students with TBI,” from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 8, at the Malheur Education Service District classroom in Vale. Living on the Land series planned
ONTARIO
The Treasure Valley Living on the Land mini-series, targeted to small acreage landowners and hobby farmers, is set in Caldwell, Emmett and Ontario beginning in April.
This four-week series includes key topics for managing animals and plants on small acreages. The cost is $10 per class or $35 for all four classes. The classes run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Ontario and include refreshments, handouts and much more. Pre-registration is required before April 4. Good Neighbor Community Center
reopens
NEW PLYMOUTH
The Good Neighbor Community Center in New Plymouth is once again open and ready to serve the residents of New Plymouth. The center has been recently remodeled and reorganized. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays. Children’s story hour, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays, will resume April 5.
Medical transportation company needed to give rides to the disabled
Malheur County
The Cascades East Ride Center (CERC) is looking for medical transportation companies interested in contracting to provide rides for both ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients in Malheur County.
Contractors meeting the CERC contracting requirements will set rates monthly to provide rides. Currently, there are not enough transportation providers to meet the ride demands in Malheur County.
