Fruitland - In loving memory of Robert Lewis Stravens, who was born on June 20, 1959, and died at home on March 9, 2008. Robert was born in Silverton, Ore., and was mostly raised in Gervais, Ore. Robert moved to Idaho nine years ago and made his home in Fruitland.
Robert loved fishing, hunting, camping, gardening and watching drag racing or racing of any kind. Robert told everyone about Oregon and the coastline that would listen to his funny stories. Robert enjoyed his barbecue and loved cooking. Robert had a heart big enough for everyone. Robert will be greatly missed by many, including Baxter. So please join us in celebrating his life and telling us your stories at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at his home, 815 N.W. Second St., in Fruitland. Parking will be available in the parking lot across from the car wash.
Robert is survived by his companion and best friend, Laini Mundell; her two sons, Steven and Michael Ramos; brothers Allen Stravens, Weiser, and Ed and Kerry Stravens, Molalla, Ore.; and nephews, Wolfgang, Nick and Jerry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Charlene Stravens, and brothers, Charles and Thomas Stravens.
