THEFT: Friday, Jan. 18, officer requested a case number for a theft report.
RUNAWAY: Friday, Jan. 18, officer dispatched to sign a granddaughter as a runaway.
EXTRA PATROL: Friday, Jan. 18, caller requested extra patrol as they will be leaving today and gone until Monday.
ANIMAL ABANDONMENT: Friday, Jan. 18, caller requested a deputy meet him due to an abandoned dog left by a former renter.
AGENCY ASSIST: Friday, Jan. 18, officer dispatched to a report from the Juvenile Department of a female that they have in custody with bruising on her face due to a fight she got into with another female from Nyssa. The reporting party requested a deputy for the report and photos.
THEFT: Friday, Jan. 18, officer dispatched to a report of batteries being stolen from a motorhome parked near the highway.
HARASSMENT: Friday, Jan. 18, reporting party came into Malheur County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to report a dispute he had with a female who purchased property from him.
THEFT: Friday, Jan. 18, caller reports that she was speaking to an officer earlier today regarding a party who did not pay for gas, and she now has information about who the driver was.
DISABLED VEHICLE: Friday, Jan. 18, officer reports a disabled vehicle off the roadway.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Friday, Jan. 18, officer advised that a reporting party reported that someone had shot her jeep with a BB gun.
AGENCY ASSIST: Saturday, Jan. 19, traffic stop results in an impound for driving with a suspended license.
TRANSFER E 911: Saturday, Jan. 19, reporting party advised an unknown male subject is knocking on her door. Call transferred to Ontario Police Department (OPD).
DISABLED VEHICLE: Saturday, Jan. 19, reporting party advised that his white Dodge pickup broke down near a haystack near Ontario. He will remove the vehicle in the morning.
RUNAWAY: Saturday, Jan. 19, reporting party advised she needs to sign her stepson as a runaway.
911 HANG UP: Saturday, Jan. 19, OPD reports a 911 hang-up call from an Ontario number. Upon callback, the party states a child was playing with the phone.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Saturday, Jan. 19, reporting party advised that he needs to report an accident that occurred on Succor Creek Road near Jordan Valley. He advised he hit an icy spot, lost control and rolled the vehicle. No one was injured, and the vehicle has since been removed.
LOST ANIMAL: Saturday, Jan. 19, caller reported that a guy lost his two black labs on the Page place sometime today.
DOG AT LARGE: Saturday, Jan. 19, officer dispatched to a report of a neighbor’s pit bull being out again, harassing her dogs and killing stray cats. The dog seems to run free while they are gone.
DOG AT LARGE: Saturday, Jan. 19, officer dispatched to a report of a neighbor dog constantly coming over and harassing his horses.
ROAD HAZARD: Saturday, Jan. 19, caller reports that someone has dropped hay bales on U.S. Highway 26.
911 HANG UP: Saturday, Jan. 19, dispatch called the number back, and a male subject stated that everything was fine and that he accidentally hit 911.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Saturday, Jan. 19, officer dispatched to attempt to locate two young females trying to hitch a ride near Ontario. The reporting party was concerned for their safety.
AGENCY ASSIST: Saturday, Jan. 19, officer dispatched due to a signed runaway coming home who was signed out of OPD.
DRIVING COMPLAINT: Saturday, Jan. 19, 911 caller advised a small, silver compact vehicle with no headlights just passed three vehicles in a no passing zone.
ALCOHOL VIOLATION: Saturday, Jan. 19, traffic stop on OR-486 BLF leads to minors in possession of alcohol (MIP) and furnishing alcohol to minors charges.
AGENCY ASSIST: Saturday, Jan. 19, officers advised of shots fired in Weiser. One vehicle came into Oregon near Annex; the other stayed on the Idaho side.
911 HANG UP: Sunday, Jan. 20, dispatch called the number back and spoke to a 13-year-old female who advised they called 911 by mistake. The reporting party did not want to give her address. The information was given to OPD.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Sunday, Jan. 20, anonymous reporting party advised a female subject with a felony warrant out of Malheur County is staying at a residence in Weiser. A copy of the warrant and a picture were sent to Washington County who will attempt to locate the suspect.
TRANSFER E 911: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised he can hear people arguing inside a residence as he is walking by. The information was given to OPD.
AGENCY ASSIST: Sunday, Jan. 20, officers dispatched to a report of a fight in progress behind the Twilight. Four subjects ran off in the direction of the Laundromat; others are still fighting.
VEHICLE FIRE: Sunday, Jan. 20, officers advised of a semi truck with its back tires on fire near Jordan Valley.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Sunday, Jan. 20, officer advised a vehicle slid off the road.
CONTROLLED BURN: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised someone is burning something next to their driveway. The fire is not out of control. The garage door is open but no one is outside. There are no deputies on duty.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Sunday, Jan. 20, caller advised that a full-sized pickup just ran off the road and into her hedges. No one is getting out of the vehicle.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Sunday, Jan. 20, attempt to locate a 1990 silver Dodge Dynasty. This is a suspect vehicle in an unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle. If located, stop and ID for Fruitland Police Department (FPD).
THEFT: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised that he is a truck driver and his girlfriend has sold some of his firearms without his permission.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised that a rancher had contacted him about a BMW that is in his field. The rancher feels that the driver is under the influence of drugs and requests a deputy. An officer was contacted and dispatched.
JUVENILE PROBLEM: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party called advising he is having trouble with his brother arguing with him and hitting him. When asked if an officer needed to come down, the reporting party’s mother came on the phone and advised that a deputy is not needed.
FOUND ANIMAL: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised that a neighbor’s dog came over to their house, and the owner does not get along with the reporting party. The reporting party wanted to advise of this situation in case the other party accuses them of taking the dog.
DOG AT LARGE: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised that a dog owner is not penning the dogs up, and they are chasing vehicles as they go by. The vehicles are forced to swerve to miss the dogs as they run out after the cars.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Sunday, Jan. 20, officer advised he received a complaint regarding cows put in on a rental property, as they did the year before without paying. The officer spoke with the suspect who stated it was a property line dispute, saying he owned the ground the cattle were put in on, even though there is no fence dividing this piece of property. The officer advised the suspect they were in a herd district and that he needed to fence his cattle in. The complainant drove the suspect’s cows home. The suspect was warned and advised the officer he would keep them on his property.
ALARM: Sunday, Jan. 20, officer dispatched to a report from a third party that they received a call regarding an alarm at Royal Truck & Diesel from ADT.
HUNTING COMPLAINT: Sunday, Jan. 20, 911 caller advised there are poachers on his property. They have been spotlighting for the past two hours. Officers were dispatched.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Sunday, Jan. 20, officer dispatched to a report of two dogs being captured that were killing chickens.
TRANSFER E 911: Sunday, Jan. 20, reporting party advised of suspicious activity on Apple Valley Road in Idaho. Call transferred to Canyon County.
ARREST: Monday, Jan. 21, Gary Ray McDaniel, 45, Ontario, was charged for driving with a suspended license.
SEX ABUSE: Monday, Jan. 21, officer advised that a male student of his called him and stated a female friend of his just disclosed that she has been sexually abused in the past by her dad. Dispatch contacted the male juvenile, and he stated she also said she has been physically and verbally abused. He stated the female said she “did not want to think about it anymore”. He was concerned she could hurt herself. Officers were advised.
DRIVING COMPLAINT: Monday, Jan. 21, reporting party advised he is behind a red semi that has a flat tire on the right side that is sparking.
CUSTODY DISPUTE: Monday, Jan. 21, reporting party stated there was an incident regarding her daughter at the Nyssa High School gymnasium in which her 17-year-old daughter did not want to go to her father’s house this weekend for visitation.
LOST ANIMAL: Monday, Jan. 21, caller reports a lost black lab in Ontario.
ROAD HAZARD: Monday, Jan. 21, officer dispatched to a report of two kids walking in the roadway on Graham Boulevard causing a hazard.
WELFARE CHECK: Monday, Jan. 21, caller requested a welfare check. |
