ONTARIO — Ontario police are investigating a series of gang-related graffiti incidents in various locations in Ontario Wednesday. Ontario Police Department Capt. Mark Alexander said seven buildings and property were tagged with a “substantial amount” of graffiti.
Police have a person of interest in mind but are continuing to investigate, he said.
The properties tagged were Andrews Seed, the Sierra Vista apartment complex, Union Pacific Railroad property, a city water tank, the Ontario Buddhist Temple and some duplexes on Southeast Sixth Avenue.
“The estimated damages at this point are around $1,400,” Alexander said. He said the first case was reported to OPD at around 8 a.m. Wednesday. |
