World-Class backcountry CatSki adventures now underway in Payette National Forest



Brundage Mountian resort photo A series of Pacific snowstorms has allowed Idaho’s Brundage Mountain Resort to begin its backcountry snowcat ski and snowboard operations for the 2008 season.
 McCall — Brundage Mountain Resort has opened its 2008 backcountry CatSki Operations to enthusiastic reviews.

 Brundage Mountain’s experienced guides offer adventures on 19,000 acres of Payette National Forest.

It’s the largest CatSki operation in the lower 48 states.  Visitors feel like they’ve been transported far away into a pristine, snowy winter environment, yet they need only drive 110 miles from Boise to begin the adventure.

 Both the mountain scenery and the skiing are breathtaking. 

 “The glades are packed with powder, and the runs vary from steep chutes to rolling snow-fields,” resort spokesperson, April Russell said. “Our first wave of guests are giving rave reviews to the experience, including the hearty alpine buffet lunch.”

 Half-day, full-day and overnight trips are available at affordable prices.

 This year, Brundage CatSki Adventures is offering a special mid-week deal for the remainder of January.

Powder lovers can get a full-day CatSki Adventure for the price of a half-day trip, (A savings of $90).
