Hannah E. Mackay

Aug. 13, 1921 -May 7, 2007

WEISER

Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Hannah Elizabeth Mackay, 85, Weiser, passed away Monday, May 7, 2007. At her request, there will be a private graveside service and no viewing. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.

Elizabeth was born August 13, 1921, in Vernal, Utah, to Frederick and Ida Cooper. She married the love of her life, Stephen Bennion Mackay, on August 28, 1940. She was later sealed to him for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Elizabeth served the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints many years. She worked in the Relief Society and taught Sunday school and Primary Classes.

She loved her heavenly Father with all her heart. Elizabeth watched over and helped those in need, either by service, friendship or just being there with a loving heart.

Elizabeth loved the little children. She was an “adopted” grandmother to many of them. Nothing made her happier than being called “grandma.”

She surrounded herself with flowers, animals and the “treasures” she found during her travels around the world. Anyone who knew her will remember her.

She is preceded in death by her husband and one son who was killed in Vietnam.
