Bass Tournament

The Bass Tournament is scheduled. A pre-meeting will be at 8 p.m. on Friday at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Park. The tournament will be Satuday and Sunday. Weigh-in is at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Bass Tournament

The Bass Tournament Raffle will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at the park. Tickets are $1 for one or $5 for six. To register or for more information, contact he contact Steve Day, Snake River Bass Master, at (208) 337 6111.

Auction

There will be an auction at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Club Park. Chamber of Commerce & the Historical Society. Contacts: Steve Stacy, 869 2529 or Joy Bridgman 869 2019 or Bev McLean 869 2873 for donations to the auction.

Dance

Dance with live Band from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the VFW Hall, corner of East First and East Adams. Raffle and food will be available, , Tickets are $5 a person, $7.50 per couple, and free for children 12 years and younger. Beta Sigma Phi

Beta Sigma Phi will swear in new officers on May 11 at the Diamond Steak House, New Plymouth. They will also award chapter woman of the year. Contact Deloris Van Auken at (541) 869-2466 for time.

Memorial Day Weekend

Flea Market

A flea market will begin at 6 p.m. May 24, May 25 and May 26 at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Park. The fee for a table is $5. To register contact Joy Bridgman at (541) 869-2019 or Mike Raney at (541) 869-2821.

Lions Club Bingo

Lion’s Club Bingo will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 25, May 26 and May 27 at Howell’s Banquet room. The cost is 25 cents a card. Prizes will be awarded. For more information, contact Mike Raney at (541) 869-2821 after 6 p.m.

Pie Sale

There will be a pie sale from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 26 at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Park. For more information, contact Delores Van Auken at (541) 869-2466.

Catfish Derby

Catfish Derby will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 26, May 27 and May 28 at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Park. Pre-register by May 26. Entry fee is $5 for adults, $9 for couples and $3 for youths 13 and younger. Prizes to be award each day for adults include: $50, $25, $15 and $10; and for juniors $30, $15, $10 and $5. Trophy to be awarded for heaviest catfish. For more information, contact Mike Raney at (541) 869-2821 after 6 p.m.

Duck Derby

Museums’ Duck Derby will be at 1 p.m. May 27. The cost is $3 per duck. Ducks will be launched on the Burnt River. Look for signs for exact location. Derby tickets available at local businesses. For more information, contact Bev McLean at (541) 869-2873.

VFW Steak Feed

VFW Steak Feed will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at the corner of East First and East Adams. The cost is $10 per person. For more information, contact Wiley Harding at (541) 869-2030

Lion’s Club Raffle

Lion’s Club Raffle will be May 28 at Lee Stevenson Lion’s Park. Items include: rod & reel, RV battery, dinner for two at Howells, wall clock made by Bill Howland and more. Contact Mike Raney at (541) 869-2821 for more information.
