Ontario - All aboard for the Elite Sports Express.
The traveling, 75-foot display of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear will roll through Ontario Wednesday as part of its nationwide tour.
The Elite Sports Express trailer will be parked across the street from The Outdoorsman, 203 E. Idaho Ave., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Outdoorsman Manager Julie Clark said the traveling showroom will showcase a variety of equipment for residents to check out.
The trailer will have scopes from Leupold, handguns and rifles from Springfield Armory USA, dog training supplies from D.T. Systems, military holsters and backpacks from Blackhawk, a full range of firearms from Remington, high-quality knives from Cold Steel and general outdoor gear from Cabin Creek.
“We're excited to have the truck come here - we're lucky to have it come,” Clark said.
This is the first year The Outdoorsman was able to bring the truck to Ontario, Clark said.
The new location of the store gave the business a place to park the trailer, and she said they have been able to add brands with the added floor space. Any store that wants to bring the Elite Sports Express must carry all of the products offered inside the trailer, she said.
Sales representatives from the various companies will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and educate the public about their products, Clark said. In addition, the sales representatives will be a great training tool for The Outdoorsman sales staff, she said. The trailer will have expensive, high-end items that many people may not have a chance to see in the local stores.
“It will carry a full line of products that everyone will get to see,” Clark said.
Those who attend will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a Leupold scope, Clark said.
The trailer traveled to Baker City before coming to Ontario, Clark said, and even Boise will not have an opportunity to showcase the traveling trailer.

And this isn't "racist," because Islam is not a race, anymore than Communism or Nazism are races, both of which killed far fewer people than Islam.
Disgusting. "
