Business women will meet

Ontario

The local chapter of American Business Women's Association will meet at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Holy Rosary Medical Center Staff Conference Room. The meal will be prepared by the hospital kitchen staff.

Meeting slated

Payette

The Payette Rovers Chapter of the Good Sam's Club will hold its regular meeting Tuesday at Tip's Restaurant in Payette.

Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the meeting will follow. For more information, call Cindy McCarty (208) 642-4836.

Singing Valentine's for your loved ones

Ontario

Ontario High School choir will perform singing Valentine's on Wednesday. To schedule a singing Valentine call Sebastian Ceniga at (541) 889-5309, ext. 260. The deadline is Tuesday, $1 donations are requested.

Payette

The Payette Band will be performing singing Valentine telegrams on Wednesday. The cost is $20 and the recipent will receive a stuffed animal, balloon, candy and a telegram.

The deadline is Tuesday. To schedule a telegram call Paul McEntee at (208) 642-6819.

Nyssa

Nyssa High School will also perform Singing Valentine's from Monday through Friday. The deadline for orders is Tuesday and can be made by calling Mr. Sintay at (541) 372-2287. The telegram includes Hershey Kiss Roses, $3 for six and $5 for 12, plus one of three songs, your choice.

Memorial Funds Opened

Payette

Payette High School has officially opened memorial funds for two former Payette High School students, Bobbie Davis and Angie Cabrera, who died in a car accident last month.

The memorial for Angie will go toward the cheerleading program, for students who cannot afford camp dues or other cheerleading items, and the memorial for Bobbie will be a college scholarship. The families will have the final decision on who receives the funding each year.

Checks can be written to Payette High School, note Angie or Bobbie memorial fund.
