Cartridge Refill and Exchange

Ontario

Cartridge Refill and Exchange will offer candy and a free photo to trick-or-treaters from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 156 S.E. 1st Ave. (in the old East Side Cafe building). Photos will be processed and pick up will be arranged. For more information contact Vic Brooks at (541) 889-3809.

Trunk-or-Treat Boo Bash

Ontario

The Treasure Valley Community College would like to invite the entire family to “The Boo Bash” from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the college, 650 College Blvd., in Ontario (behind the Four Rivers Cultural Center). The Student Education Association will be hosting a night of safe Trunk-or-Treating, and there will be plenty of sweets!

Halloween Swim Party and Spook Alley

Ontario

The Ontario Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Halloween Swim Party and Spook Alley from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the Ontario Aquatic Center. The cost will be $2 per person and anyone over age six is invited to attend. Children under age six are also invited to attend, but they must be accompanied by a parent. The Senior Water Aerobic Classes have donated the treats for all those that attend. For more information, please call (541) 889-7946.

Trick-or-treat at the Water Tower

Ontario

The Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee will host a trick-or-treat party from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the water tower, N.E. Second Ave, Ontario.

The Onion King and Jumbo, the mascot, will be present to greet children.

Candy, water, onions and trick-or-treat bags will be given to trick-or-treaters.

A permanent mural has been added to the water tower. There will be a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

The Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee plans to make this an annual event.

Tail gate party

Fruitland

The public is invited to attend a tail gate party from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the parking lot of the Fruitland Church of the Brethren, S.W. Fourth St. and Minnesota. There will be games, food and treats. Costumes are welcome.

The Haunted World

Nampa

The Haunted World is a haunted corn maze and a spooky place to be at night. It covers a total of 35 acres. A portion is the maze and the rest is what the majority of victims want - a spine-tingling haunt!

The cost for the haunt is $12 ages 6 and older. The haunt takes 30 to 45 minutes. For an extreme effects haunt the cost is

$15, the extra $3 will put you at the front of the line.

The hours of haunting are Monday through Thursday from dusk to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from dusk to midnight.

The concessions served are hot buttered popcorn, barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs, candy, hot chocolate, chips, chili, soft drinks and more. There is a gift shop as well.

Directions to the scariest place in the Treasure Valley are Eastbound on I-84., coming from Ontario, take Caldwell exit #29 and turn left. This is Hwy 20-26 (or Chinden Blvd.). The Haunted World is four miles down the road. Look to the sky and follow the search lights.

The MAiZE

Meridian

The hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Ticket prices include: the maze only, $7 for ages 12 and older and $4 for ages four to 11; combo tickets are $10 for ages 12 and older and $7 for ages four to 11; and haunted combo tickets are $12 ages 12 and older and $9

for ages four to 11.

Children three and younger are always free.

Field of Screams is a separate haunted trail where the corn will become home to the ghosts and goblins of the farm. Enter if you dare!! Opens after dark. Only available with the Haunted Combo Ticket.

Free hayrides are included with every admission to the farm.

There are acres of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. There are also decorative gourds and Indian corn to complete your harvest decor.

The courtyard is new and improved this year. Featuring Duck Races, The Bucking Cow Train, Slides, Corn Cannons, Pedal Carts and More. Admission is included in the Combo Ticket and Haunted Combo Ticket.

Bottled water, pop, and prepackaged concessions are available anytime.

Nothing makes a farm like baby animals! The cost is included with any admission.

This MAiZE is owned and operated by Jim and Hillary Lowe. It is located at 8685 South Meridian Rd., Meridian.

Directions to MAiZE: take I-84 to Meridian Exit 44 and follow Meridian Road South approximately 5 miles. The MAiZE is on the West side of Meridian Road the road just South of Columbia Road.

Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Linder Farms wants to provide a family tradition at affordable prices. There is a free hayride to the pumpkin patch and the bale maze entrance is also free admission. This provides a great experience for small children.

This year, a very challenging corn maze with several miles of paths has been added. There will also be barrel train rides and inflatables such as an astro jump and bounce houses.

The Corn Maze will be about a one or two hour experience, it is broken into two separate paths.

The cost for the maze is $6 for ages 12 and older, $3 for ages four through 11 and free to children age three and younger.

The hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Driving directions to the maze: Linder Farms is located at 7165 S. Linder Rd., Meridian. Linder Road is only one mile off of the Kuna/Meridian Highway (Hwy 69) and half way between Lake Hazel and Columbia Roads.Concessions include mini donuts, popcorn, nachos, hot chocolate and hot cider.
